Book by the title "Marks of Early American Silversmiths" by Ernest M. Currier limited to only 750 copies published in 1938 of which this is the author's copy signed by Lavinia Duchemin Currier on page vi of the preface as well as signed by Mr. John Marshall Phillips, curator of the Mabel Brady Garvin Collection in the Yale Gallery of Fine arts, signed by Mr. Hollis who wrote the book "A list of Early American Silversmiths and Their Marks" and signed by Kathryn C. Buhler, all who contributed to the development and content of this book.The blue colored cloth binding shows wear on the edges, especially on the spine edges. The interior is in excellent over-all condition.
