These full contact buffing pads work with your dual action polisher to correct automotive paint more easily than ever before. Porter Cable 7424XP Variable Speed Polisher
The Porter Cable 7424XP Dual Action Polisher is a beefed up, more powerful version of our most popular dual action polisher. The Porter Cable 7424XP Dual Action Polisher has all the user-friendly features of the original Porter Cable 7424, but a 4.5 amp motor enables enhanced performance and durability. The Porter Cable 7424XP Dual Action Polisher operates from 2,500 OPM to 6,800 OPM to provide a faster removal rate. The 7424XP features all ball and roller bearing construction with spiral/bevel gears and an improved switch design. The buffer accepts a 5/16-24 spindle thread. The pad diameter is 6 inches. The polisher includes a wrench, side handle, polishing pad, and a operating manual.
Dual Action 5” Flex Backing Plate
With hook facing, this plate allows you to switch pads quickly and continue polishing. A recessed edge and flexible urethane construction gives your paint extra protection from run-ins with the backing plate. Strict tolerances on weight, balance, roundness, and flatness ensure consistent performance time and time again. The backing plate has a 5/16 inch thread.
Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0
Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0 is a hybrid of our original Total Swirl Remover formula and Germany’s fast-cutting polish for ceramic clear coats. It combines Wolfgang’s diminishing abrasive technology with a special milling process pioneered in Germany, which produces consistently sized, fast cutting abrasives. Our specially milled abrasives work to eliminate imperfections without creating new ones. These small abrasives are milled for consistency. As they smooth over a scratch, the abrasives diminish at the same rate because they all started at the same size. The result is smooth paint in fewer steps. If another step is needed to fully restore the gloss, simply switch to a softer foam pad. Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0 works more or less aggressively based on your pad selection. 8 oz.
Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0
Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0 is a water-based emulsion with ultra fine diminishing abrasives that gently polish the paint to a brilliant gloss. Compounding swirls, mild oxidation, and water spots disappear to reveal glassy smooth, beautiful paint. Underneath a wax or sealant, the paint radiates with energy and gloss. 8 oz.
Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0
Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 features fortified polymer technology. Wolfgang’s German Super Polymers are fortified with more dirt-repelling power to keep your vehicle cleaner and shinier, longer. Our enhanced super polymers have an amazing anti-static property that repels water, oil, dust, and road grime to provide unsurpassed paint protection. Your vehicle stays cleaner because foreign molecules literally slide off the clear polymer coating. Super polymers bond easily to automotive paint and form an extensive cross-linked polymer network. This clear shield eliminates surface tension so contaminants have no foothold on your vehicle. Your vehicle will have a deep gloss and unbeatable protection for months. 16 oz.
Wolfgang Instant Detail Spritz
Drawing from ground-breaking developments in modern chemistry, the specialized ingredients in this high-lubricity spray deliver unparalleled surface enhancement--clarity, intensity and shine. Though most cars can be misted and buffed in less than five minutes, it will look like you’ve spent all day laboring on your vehicle. Wolfgang Instant Detail Spritz is formulated with high-tech German super polymers. These highly-reflective polymers form an ultra-thin protective coat that bond to the paint sealant or wax finish and leave your vehicle with a slick, silky surface—plus Instant Detail Spritz extends the life of the sealant or wax with regular use. 16 oz.
CCS Orange 6.5 Inch Light Cutting Pad
Firm, high density foam for scratch and defect removal. Use this pad with polishes and swirl removers. It’s an all around pad that will work on most light to moderate imperfections.
CCS White 6.5 inch Heavy Polishing Pad
Less dense foam formula for the application of waxes, micro-fine polishes and sealants. This pad has very light cutting power so its perfect for pre-wax cleaners.
CCS Black 6.5 inch Finishing Pad
Composition is firm enough to withstand added pressure during final finishing to remove buffer swirls. It has no cut and will apply thin, even coats of waxes, sealants, and glazes.
2 Microfiber Detailing Towels
Use these microfiber detailing cloths for drying, buffing, or as a finishing wipe down. Microfiber is designed to be light, strong, super-absorbent and quick drying. The fibers are non-abrasive, and are woven so tightly that it’s absolutely lint free and extremely durable. Unbelievably, these ultra-tough fibers are engineered to absorb seven times their weight in moisture. When using on windows, it produces a streak-free finish.
Directions:
Use the
Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0
first with the orange pad. Set the speed of the
Porter Cable
between 4500 and 5000 OPM. Work in sections and buff away the residue before moving on to the next section.
Apply the
Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0
next using the white pad. Set the
PC
at the same speed and work in sections. Buff before moving to the next section. (You may want 3 or 4
Cobra Detailing Cloths
on hand to prevent cross-contamination.)
To finish up, apply the
Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0
using the blue pad. Cover the entire vehicle and wait 30-45 minutes before buffing. Once buffed, the sealant needs to cure for 12 hours in absolutely dry conditions to achieve the full effect.
To clean your used pads, wash them in a solution of
DP Polishing Pad Rejuvenator
and water. It will release the products from the foam and rinse completely clean. (Sold separately.)
